What music increases testosterone production in men.

The effect of music on various processes in the human body has long been the subject of research by scientists. Important behavioral and physiological mechanisms in young men are often based on the level of the sex hormone they produce. The higher the testosterone, the stronger the muscles, sex drive is stronger, more aggressive. And it turns out that this hormone is not only dependent on the quality of nutrition, but also on the style of music that a man listens to.

Heavy or "metal" rock For many decades, young men to build muscle mass are actively engaged in gyms, using strength and anaerobic exercises and different specially designed training programs. Back in 1973, at the Joe Vader Scientific Research Center of the International Federation of Bodybuilding, specialists paid attention to a curious fact. Men, who often attended noisy rock concerts, were better at training in the gym to grow muscle mass and at the same time they had a constant sex drive. Based on blood tests conducted by doctors at the center of Joe Vader in the late twentieth century found that visiting rock concerts in men is associated with increased levels of testosterone in the next two to three days. Since then, coaches of the International Federation of Bodybuilding tacitly recommend that all their colleagues during training athletes to use the soundtracks of bands playing music in the style of heavy or "metal" rock. This helps the male body to cope with physical exertion, constantly stimulating the production of sex hormones. Simple and fun hard rock. At the beginning of the XXI century, Japanese scientists have studied the influence of music on the human body. Professor Hirokazu Doi of Nagasaki University tested his student volunteers. He invited 37 boys and 39 girls to listen to musical compositions recorded in different styles and genres. The test subjects were to rate each piece of music according to a system of likes/dislikes, simple/complex, calm/rebellious, and funny/dramatic. At the same time, saliva samples were also taken from each volunteer for the presence of various hormones. It turned out that for girls there is no correlation between testosterone or estrogen levels and preferences in music. But in boys they were very clearly defined. Thus, jazz, popular and classical music had a negative effect on testosterone levels. All males, who noted that they liked the compositions in these musical directions, had lower sex hormone levels than the norm. The students who said they liked hard rock were the ones with the highest testosterone levels. However, there were also variations in this group of test subjects. For example, the young men who tended to like "hard" and "dramatic" rock songs (meaning rock ballads) showed increased levels of cortisol, the stress hormone, which eventually levels out the production of the sex hormone. Test subjects who liked "complex" and "rebellious" rock music had high blood levels of adrenaline, which also partly offset testosterone. Professor Hirokazu Doi concluded that the simpler and more fun a rock song is, the better effect it has on testosterone production. Dramatic and especially suicidal motifs in the soundtracks of any style were the most destructive to the production of sex hormone in men.
