What happens if a man eats only vegetables.

 In today's world, many people opt for a vegetarian lifestyle for different reasons, such as environmental concerns or animal welfare. However, what happens to the human body when a man consumes only vegetables is a topic that has garnered interest among nutritionists. Although the information available is still controversial, the consensus among experts is that the initial stage of transition to a vegetarian diet can negatively affect men's health.



According to French psychologists from the last century, there is a connection between a man's eating habits and his sexual ability. Recent research by sexologists in France revealed that men who have been consuming only vegetables for more than two years are the worst lovers imaginable. They tend to have a lack of passion, no daring sexual experimentation, and an inability to control their ejaculation. This is attributed to the fact that their body requires a large amount of low-calorie fruits and vegetables to satiate themselves, which results in a bloated stomach and constant rumbling in the intestines.

Interestingly, these claims of French psychologists are supported by medical findings. Researchers from George Washington University conducted a seven-year study on the effects of vegetarianism on male health. The results showed that the absence of meat products in the diet leads to a reduced production of the sex hormone testosterone, resulting in a sluggish erection, marked sexual weakness, and a general lack of interest in sexual activity.

Moreover, a deficiency in animal lipids, which play an essential role in the synthesis of muscle cells, leads to reduced muscle tone, including the pubococcygeal muscles that are responsible for ejaculation control. In addition, newcomers to vegetarianism are warned that their intestines gradually change the composition of the microflora, adjusting to the new system of nutrition, which can lead to intestinal discomfort, including increased gas and regular constipation.

Aside from sexual dysfunction and intestinal discomfort, vegetarian men also face other health problems. Physicians worldwide know that vegetarians are prone to iron deficiency anemia since plant foods lack the most easily digestible form of iron - heme - that is found in red meat. Furthermore, Russian doctors believe that the deficiency of vitamin B12, which is the basis of hemic iron, is one of the most important causes of memory impairment in humans.

A large-scale study by scientists from the Norwegian University of Natural and Technical Sciences, Trondheim, found that vegans and lacto-vegetarians suffer from a constant lack of vitamin B12, resulting in the reversal of the synthesis of homocestein into methionine. Consequently, people develop neurodegenerative diseases, leading to brain dysfunctions, often characterized by some symptoms of mental disorders.

To combat the problem of iron deficiency, various vitamin supplements have been developed for vegetarians. However, the first studies by Norwegian and Russian scientists have shown that the artificial vitamin B12, when consumed orally, is not entirely absorbed by the body, unlike solutions introduced by intramuscular injections. Unfortunately, this method leads to allergic reactions in 40 cases out of 100, making it challenging to solve the problem of iron deficiency in people who do not consume meat.

In conclusion, the decision to adopt a vegetarian lifestyle can have both positive and negative impacts on a man's health. While it is undoubtedly an ethical and environmentally conscious choice, it is important to be aware of the potential health consequences and take measures to mitigate them.
